Overview

On January 6, 2021 the Mayor ordered a citywide 6:00 p.m curfew. To ensure that District employees are able to adhere to the Mayor's curfew, non-essential and non-emergency District government employees physically reporting to their duty location shall be dismissed at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2021; employees scheduled to return to a physical office or service center on January 7, 2021, shall report for duty on time, unless otherwise directed. The District government remains open and operational, and employees currently working remotely shall continue to do so.


Operational Status

Early Dismissal on January 6, 2021

Non-essential and non-emergency employees who report to a physical duty station shall receive administrative leave between 4:30 p.m. and the end of their scheduled tour of duty. Employees who are on situational telework should continue normal operations. 

Normal Operations on January 7, 2021

The District of Columbia Government will open on time for normal operations on Thursday, January 7, 2021.  Employees scheduled to physically report to their duty location(s) on Thursday, January 7, 2021 should report at their regularly scheduled time(s) unless otherwise notified by their supervisor.  Employees who are on situational telework should continue normal operations.


PeopleSoft Time Reporting

Employees dismissed early on January 6, 2021, should report their time in PeopleSoft for the dismissal period using the Administrative Leave with Pay - ADL timecode.
